Atromitos v Skoda Xanthi

Verdict: Atromitos blew their chance to get full points at home last round, after taking the lead twice against newly promoted Olympiakos Volou, and only to get pegged back both times. Atromitos keeper, Swede Jonas Sandqvist, was kept busy by the opposition having to make 6 saves to keep his side in the match. With a full squad and at home once more Atromitos has an opporunity to turn things around against a so far unimpressive Xanthi who is coming into the match with a heavy loss at home to Olympiakos (0-3). Xanthi have a few players doubtful for the upcoming match with George Boateng, Petro Mandalo, Zdeno Strba and Kim Jaggy all in the injury list.

Pick: Atromitos -0.5 @2.0 (bet365, 6 units)
Atromitos 1 - 1 Xanthi

Asteras Tripolis v Iraklis

Verdict: Asteras Tripolis returned to winning ways last round with an away win against struggling Larisa. Even though Larisa had the more shots during the match and kept Asteras keeper Matías Degra busy. Degra also saved an early penalty in the match (14th minute) which possibly changed the games outlook. Asteras Tripolis went on to score on the 39th and 41st minutes through Portuguese midfielder Cris and Brazilian striker Roberto. Iraklis in the meantime has failed to continue their great start to the season having now drawn their two last matches including a dissapointing draw at home last weekend against Panserraiko who thanks to a late strike by young Taso Papazoglou managed to earn themselves a valuable away point. Asteras has a near full squad with only young defender Leonida Argyropoulo not fit for the match while Iraklis will be without Manoli Papasteriano, Stelio Iliadi, Abraham Alechenwu and also midfielder Mirnes Sisic who injured himself during Fridays training session.

Pick: Asteras Tripolis 0,-0.5 @1.81 (victor chandler, 6 units)
Asteras 0 - 0 Iraklis

Olympiakos Volou v Larisa

Verdict: Olympiakos Volou so far has been a solid side for a team that only recently got promoted to the Super Liga. They have also shown that they are a capable unit going forward. The side has managed 8 goals in 6 matches so far with only Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and AEK having done better in front of goals. This will be also only the 3rd home match so far for Olympiakos Volou who will like to record their second home win this weekend. Larisa have had no luck on the road so far having lost both previous matches against Panserraiko and Irakli. They have also shown the opposite of Olympiako Volous ability to score up front having only managed 2 goals in 6 matches so far the lowest in the league. Olympiakos has a full squad for the upcoming match while Larisa will be without strikers Jan Blazek and Stephen Makinwa plus defender Ibrahim Tall.

Pick: Olympiakos Volou -0.5 @2.38 (bet365, 8 units)
Olympiakos Volou 1 - 1 Larisa

Kavala v Ergotelis

Verdict: We here at Footy analysis have decided not to waste our time with teams that will be facing relegation battles this season so we stayed away from the match between PAOK v Panionios and decided to instead opt for Kavala v Ergoteli! Kavala so far have had a great season and showing it with their 5th league spot. They managed an important point away from home last weekend against Kerkyra (1-1) and this weekend return in front of their fans to continue on improving their home record with another win against an Ergoteli who will have their heads high after a terrific away win against Panionio. Both sides will have pretty much a full squad with only Croatian striker Mario Budimir missing out for Ergoteli due to injury.

Pick: Kavala 0,-0.5 @1.82 (bet365, 5 units)
Kavala 3 - 1 Ergotelis
