Iraklis v Kavala

Verdict: Iraklis coach Marinos Ouzounidis has asked for big fan support on the upcoming home game against Kavala so that his team can retain pole position for another round of the league. The team struggled somewhat to find an answer last week at home against Larisa and depended on a fantastic own goal by Cousin to take the full points. Good news for the side is that energetic forward Karim Soltani should make his return to the starting line up but thgey will be without Japanese midfielder Kobayashi and Stelios Iliadi. Pitu Garcia will also be missing for the match due to
being sent off last round.
Visitors Kavala are still without a win but have a confidence boost coming into the game after the away draw (2-2) against Panathinaikos last weekend. Last weekends goal scorer Jean-Claude Darcheville is doubtful for the match due to injury but in will come Kavalas number one keeper Galinovic.
Iraklis will field a strong side for this one and with the boost of Soltani's return should see off a tough match against Kavala to retain first spot.

Aris v Ergotelis

Verdict: Aris will no doubt have their thoughts on the mid-week match in Europa against Rosenborg and will want to shut out Ergoteli early so as to rest some of their key players. The team has struggled some what of late with two bad results in their last two super league matches with 1-0 defeats to both Panathinaikos and Panionios. Cuper will want home advantage to pay off this time against Ergoteli plus will be hoping that Valoukas is a long way away from Kleanthis Vikelidis this round and many more rounds to come. Plenty of players sitting the match out, most due to injury, including keeper sifakis are Mehdi Nafti, Giannis Agtzidis, Alvaro Portilla, Fabiano, Giorgos Katidis, Oriol, Christos Aravidis, Charalambos Economopoulos and defender Grigoris Papazaharias.
For Ergoteli one man in - one man out with Junior returning and Alexopoulo missing out. Coach Karageorgiou noted that he fears the stadium atmosphere more so than the Aris team for the upcoming match but is confident his side can get a result.
